Hello, my name is Ms.Perales. I am a English Language Learner Teacher. I mostly focus a lot on reading, listening, speaking, and writing. I encourage the kids to keep on reading over the summer! They may read in English or in their home language is ok. Both will be very beneficial for the children. The Decatur Public Library is doing a Summer Challenge that they could do for prizes! Enjoy the summer break!
*They should keep a journal of what they are doing over the summer.
*practice writing skills.
Book Recommendations by teacher: Elephant & Piggie, Magic Tree House. These books are great chapter books for students going into 2nd and 3rd grade.
